Hendersons kick off summer auctions

The Gold Coast's bumper summer real estate auction season will kick off in January with the team from John Henderson Professionals Mermaid Beach set to the first cab of the rank.

The Mermaid Beach and Miami team has schedule their 'Hot Summer Auction Event' to be held at the Nobby Beach Surf Club at 5pm on January 20.

The big property auction is set to be followed by a series of auction events hosted by a large number of agencies including Ray White Surfers Paradise and Lucy Cole Prestige Properties.

John Henderson Professionals Mermaid Beach principal Andrew Henderson said his team's January 20 auction would set the tone for the other auctions to follow.

"The real estate market on the Gold Coast has improved significantly during 2015 and we are hoping our Hot Summer Auction Event will kick off 2016 with a bang,'' he said.

"We are more than a month out from the event still and what is really impressive is the quality of the properties that we already have on offer."

Some of the properties primed to go under the hammer include:
